Information & Directions
Haltwhistle Golf Club welcomes visitors to this beautiful and historic course. For individuals there is no need to book a tee time, but please avoid the busy members' times, as shown on the Calendar page. The office is often unmanned and operates an honesty box system for fees. Please follow instructions in the Starters Office on arrival at the club.
For visiting groups and societies (6 players or more) we ask that you agree a price and pre-book a tee time by contacting the club first by email or telephone, then complete the form available on this page, sending to the club with a deposit.
Make sure you check out our Open events. These and other fixtures can be found on the Calendar page, where you can check for busy times on the course.
The clubhouse is not permanently open for refreshments. Visiting groups can arrange catering in advance, with details given on the booking form. Refreshments are available in Greenhead village, half a mile away, either before or after you play. Greenhead Tea Room, Greenhead Hotel and Blenkinsopp Inn are open all year.
Greenhead Hotel is the ideal base for a break in the area, to play golf and visit Roman Wall sites. Hotel and hostel accommodation is available, with bar and restaurant meals served all day. 016977 47411. The Greenhead Hotel is a sponsor of the club, and of this visitor page, and the club appreciates their support.
